Mackinaw Harvest is West Michigan's premiere recording and production
facility
serving a full line of products for musicians and businesses. The
studios, completed
in 2007, are centrally located in downtown Grand Rapids with plenty
of free
on-site parking.
Once inside, creativity comes easily in the warm pine-paneled rooms.
Mackinaw
Harvest Studio “A” is the only studio in the area with a fireplace in
the center
of the master control room. Anything but the typical sterile studio
environment,
at Mackinaw Harvest, you'll feel more like you’re on sabbatical at a
northern
lodge....the perfect atmosphere in which to work on your next project.
Our
Studio “B” is a second room designed for your smaller budget projects.
We
feature ProTools HD as our main recording desk and include a full line
of
plug-ins, mic preamps as well as a nice selection of classic microphones by Neumann, AKG, Audio Technica & Shure, mic preamps by Avalon, Universal Audio & Focusrite & Presonus.
Also included for your use are vintage guitar amps
by
Fender, Ampeg & Orange and keyboards by Korg, Roland & Yamaha. Need

Studio owner and producer/engineer Michael Crittenden is a graduate of
The
Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and has been producing records
and
commercials for 18 years. In addition to producing and writing, Michael
is the
founding member of the band Troll for Trout.
